A Joey Ortiz triple in the second inning led to the only offense in the game, as Rogers came out on the wrong end of the decision despite delivering one of his best performances of the season. The lefty tossed 72 of 99 pitches for strikes in his 15th quality start of the year, and eight of them have come in 12 outings since the All-Star break -- a stretch in which he's produced a 3.58 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and dazzling 84:8 K:BB in 75.1 innings. Rogers will wrap up his regular season with a road start next weekend against the Yankees.

Rogers limited the Blue Jays to one run through four innings, but the 28-year-old southpaw's outing took a turn for the worse in the fifth, when he gave up consecutive homers to George Springer, Vladimir Guerrero and Kazuma Okamoto. It was the first time Rogers gave up three home runs in a start since Sept. 26, 2025, against the Yankees. He'll take a 4.22 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 157.2 innings into his next start, tentatively slated for next weekend at home against the Brewers.

Rogers (10-9) notched the win against Cleveland on Monday, allowing one run on six hits and no walks in 7.1 innings. He struck out six.

Rogers emptied the tank for the Orioles on Monday amid a heated American League playoff race, throwing a season-high 104 pitches in a season-long outing. The left-hander has really turned his campaign around following a dismal start to the year, yielding two earned runs or fewer in 13 of his last 17 appearances since the beginning of June. He'll take a 4.15 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 138:37 K:BB over 151.2 innings into his next scheduled start in Toronto.

Rogers allowed two runs on six hits and no walks over 6.2 innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Rockies. He struck out 11.
